Booking and paying

You pay when you book.

Our prices can change, but never for a session you’ve already booked.

A package is for the dog it was bought for and lasts 6 months from the day you buy it. If illness stops you using it in time, tell us and we’ll extend it.

Cancelling or moving a session

Tell us as soon as you can, at [your email or phone]. What you pay depends on how much notice you give:

  • 48 hours or more before: nothing to pay.
  • Less than 48 hours before: half the price.
  • If you don’t turn up: the full price.

If you’ve already paid, we refund what you don’t owe. Moving a session 48 hours or more before is free.

In the first 14 days after booking, your right to change your mind (below) comes first.

If you’re late, the session still ends at the time booked.

If we have to cancel, because of illness or weather that isn’t safe for your dog, you choose: another date or your money back.

Changing your mind

If you book online, by phone or by message, you can cancel within 14 days of booking, for any reason, and get your money back.

If your session falls inside those 14 days, booking it means you’re asking us to start sooner. If you then cancel, you pay only for any session you’ve already had. Once a session has taken place, it can’t be cancelled.

Your dog

Your dog needs to be up to date with vaccinations. If your dog is unwell on the day, please tell us rather than bring them.

Before the first session, tell us about any bites, worries or health problems. It keeps everyone safe, other dogs included.

Females in season can’t join classes. Tell us and we’ll find you a later date.

Results and responsibility

Every dog is different, so we can’t promise results. We’ll always work with reasonable care and skill, and the more you practise between sessions, the faster things change.

You stay responsible for your dog throughout, unless something goes wrong because of our negligence.

We hold public liability insurance.

Photos and videos

We’d love to share your dog’s progress. We only post photos or videos with your OK, and you can change your mind at any time.

Your details

We keep your details only to run your bookings and your dog’s training, and we never sell them.

If something isn’t right

Tell us at [your email or phone] and we’ll do our best to put it right.

Or have clients agree when they book

Start your trial and DogDesk shows your cancellation times on your booking page, works out what’s owed when someone cancels, and has clients sign your terms when they book.

Free for 14 days, no card needed. We’ll set your cancellation times and save these terms for clients to sign.

Questions

  • No. It’s a plain-English starting point covering what UK dog trainers usually need. If your business does something unusual, such as board and train, a solicitor can check your terms.
